About

Dejia Danhi (they/them/theirs) is a community-driven designer passionate about accountability in community care through research and design. Their work explores the intersection of access, sustainability, and connection. Operating out of a space of humility and compassion, their partnership with their clients and the outer community plays a key role.

Their love for community building was formed through athletics. Their relentless attitude towards prioritizing community care while on a team translates to how they show up in every community. This is influenced by the intersections of their identity, giving them the ability to recognize power structures and invisible stressors regarding race, and gender.

Most recently, have graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a Master’s in Social Design, where they leaned into their passion for social impact and community building. While there, they discovered the strength of co-collaborative work within user research, service design, and Human-Centered Design.
